We went to the awesome Prevail Skatehouse the other day. The place is small but they have packed lots of good stuff into it, everything seems to work pretty well. Well worth checking out. Here is a video from Matt Nicklen, Sam Baker and Will Peckham shredding the place
It looks like the scene in Oxford are doing it right by not allowing scooters into the park. Seems like this will be the first park to have something like this enforced. Park is looking awesome at the moment, check out their site for more information http://www.owp.org.uk/
“OWP appreciate that scooter riders are the next generation of skater and BMXers and we may one day eat our words but for the success of this unique facility the management committee have decided to ban the use of scooters. This we believe will ensure maximum fair usage of the facility and safeyy of park users. Bare in mind – people are not banned from this park we have built. Just scooters. If you want to ride a board or a bike you are welcome.”
Me, Gareth, nathan went to XC on friday and got some clips of the day and some bits and bobs of others riders in the skate park.

A few Kingston/Richmond locals have formed crew named Murky, they have started filming a lot of street and park around the area and have been putting out videos, here’s the latest. More on that youtube channel.

Bletchingley Skatepark is located in the Reigate area, back in the day there use to be a wooden spine mini ramp in the small town funded by the locals. It was not largely known to a lot of people, this was always a surprise to me as it was a huge ramp which was a break from the normal style of parks around the area. Not only was it wooden but also had some big quaters and even a little jumpbox on the side.
After a while issues with council and maintenance ended the ramps life and it was taken down. But there is good news. The locals headed by James Holland have put together enough funds for a brand new ramp. The designs for this new ramp are below and they hope for it to be up and running by the summer (along with a summer jam).
Now Harry has his own resi ramp setup you know hes going to be doing some wild stuff on this!
Video was filmed and edited all on my iPhone (that’s why its rubbish) but thought I would get a couple of clips on my iPhone whilst I had a puncture. Briggs, Nathan clips over the box at Kingston
