I know everyone is in shock that crux managed to do an update, so thats going to be a good reason as any not of done an update myself. Been pretty busy with work and trying to finish the dvd. The plan is to come down to Plymouth for freshers week, which is in a couple of weeks i think, so see you guys pretty soon.

On one a random search through YouTube i found this little video of the London Street Jam that went on at the weekend, which has Dom (Plymouth) and James Smith (Kingston) in: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyMUvD3RLfU&NR

BackyardJam Info:
August 2006
Sheffield, home to some of the UK’s most talented riders, hosts one of Europe’s most prestigious BMX competitions as the etnies Backyard Jam 2006 (EBYJ) turns ICE Sheffield into a BMX Mecca on 27th – 29th October 2006. Complete with a street course expertly crafted by Nate Wessell of X Games notoriety, a retail area and more international stars than the World Cup!, the EBYJ is certainly one event NOT to miss this year.

Following the mind-blowing riding that was laid down at the etnies Backyard Jam 2005 in Brighton, including the breaking of a UK Record in the SNICKERS ® Highest Bunny Hop contest, the EBYJ 2006 is coming back bigger and better to celebrate its 13th successful year as the UK’s leading core event. The riders list grows year on year and in 2006 it certainly reads like the BMX hall of fame with riders from teams such as etnies, SNICKERS ® and Primo including Ben Hennon (UK), Morgan Wade (US, X Games 2006 Street Silver Medalist), Josh Stricker (US), Aaron Ross (US), Bas Keep (UK), Taj Mihelich (US), Ali Whitton (UK), Gary Young (US), Max Vincent (CAN), Chase Hawk (US) and Matt Beringer (US), to name just a few. With such a line up coupled with worldwide eminence, credibility and the infamous EBYJ relaxed format we have all come to know and love, the riders will certainly push themselves, get technical and break boundaries to perform progressive tricks in the battle for the premium prize money, and ultimately, the coveted EBYJ title.

Friday, the opening day of the event, will see 60 Experts battle it out in heated qualifiers for the honourable 16 finalist spots in Saturday’s Expert final. Following that, a record 100 Pros take to the course, for their qualifiers, the top 16 of which will come back on Sunday for the prestigious Pro Final and some fearless action.

If that was not enough, the SNICKERS ® Bunny Hop, etnies Highest Air and the SNICKERS ® Best Trick contests on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, respectively, will definitely hype the crowd to a frenzy and push the excitement through the roof.

This year, to accommodate the overwhelming amount of riders wanting to compete at the EBYJ each year, the organisers have created a series of amateur events located around the country to ensure more BMX enthusiasts from more areas of the UK can experience competing in this world class event. The top 15 riders from each of the qualifier events will instantly qualify to compete at the EBYJ and perform in the main arena with some of the world’s most highly regarded pro riders.

In previous years the event has sold out quickly so log on to www.backyardjam.com or call 0845 310 3660 to book your tickets and get the latest news. The etnies Backyard Jam in association with SNICKERS ® and Primo is at ICE Sheffield 27 – 29 October 2006. Opening times: 11am to 7pm for the public and 10am to 7pm for the riders. No access with bikes for the public.

In final stages of production!!!!

Tuesday, August 08, 2006
This site seems to be dying on its arse right now, I blame James, slack bastard! Heres a few photos from last week, when we went down to The Track in Portreath for the week before the KOD there. A good and drunken time was had by all and I, along with a few others barely touched our bikes all week, life is good. Not that the trails there aren't worth riding, far from it, they look sweet, especiially after we'd done a bit of work. The hip that most of these were taken on looks mega awesome super fun to ride. Theres a few more pics to come when I can be bothered, in the meantime, enjoy.

White Russians are the new black.

Stu, table, missed a nice turndown because I fell off the landing, doh.

Other Tom 1 foot table, these went proper inverted, I have some better pics but you'll have to wait because Im at work so camera is not here.

and over a straight jump.

KOD results in case your interested

WESC doubles

1. Bernard and Preban
2. Chris Smith and Matt Scott (pedal!)
3. Tom and Josh (I think)

Am.

1. Bernard
2. Preban (painted on jeans)
3. Tom (again, I think)

Pro.

1. Leopardhead (stupid name, stupid helmet)
2. Jimmy (imagine the dog noise here...)
3. Chris Smith (meh)

Those results could be totally wrong so feel free to correct me, but thats what my White Russian affected brain is saying.

For all those who have not yet sampled the delights of the White Russian....

Our recipe is a slight adaptation, but trust me, it rocks:

1. Pint Glass
2. 3 or so scoops of vanilla ice cream, classier the better
3. 2 -3 seconds or so of Kahlua pouring
4. 3-4 seconds or so of Vodka pouring
5. Top up with milk, we used semi-skimmed which worked nice.
6. Stir in until stops being lumpy
7. Drink
8. Make another
9. And another
10. And so on....

This recipe is pretty vague and flexible, just experiment with those ingredients in different amounts and your bound to find something you like, you cant go far wrong.

Who's Got the Keys? Premier went down on Saturday night, was awesome, funny as fuck, good job G. Cool flowy trails riding cut with drunken meat related action. What else do you need?

GO BUY.

Well done if you made it this far Ta'ra.
