First update in a while, no excuses, just couldnt be bothered. Still cant to be honest. Anyway lots of work been going on down wis, legalisation should occur shortly so anyone who wants to ride there get in touch because we're gonna need some money off ya! Theres been a few Kingston Park sessions going down lately, apparently the new uni season has brought a few new riders into the area. If your reading this leave a message in the gbook, its time we should be getting a crew together for the winter park and street sessions.

Anyway, theres pics in the kingston park and wisley sections. Enjoy.

Car Trouble

Its Saturday, I've got a big hangover, annoyed not going to be able to go to bar end jam, annoyed my car is fooked, don't want to go back to uni and do work. On the plus side riding is been fun recently, shame no trails about but ah well, fly out fun.. Thought i would give you the low down on what happened to my car on the way down to uni, not that many of you care.. if not, stop reading and laugh at the pictures.

Left my house about 7:00am for a long drive to uni. Driving down the motorway at about 80mph in the middle lane, suddenly a massive smash, and before i new it my bonnet had detached it self from below the windscreen to covering thew whole windscreen, smashing the windscreen. (Basically what happened was the catch had broken off and air had lifted the bonnet up into the windscreen) Blind driving is not fun at 80mph so using mirrors and hopeing to god that no one was undertaking me i swerved onto the hard shoulder. Stayed there for 4 hours having numerous police cars pull up to see what was going on. Even tho i was rather thinking how the hell i was going to get down to Plymouth with all the stuff in my car rather then my car looking like it was in a destruction derby!.. it was all good in the end, got the RAC man to drive my car all the way down to Plymouth. New windscreen + new bonnet = £200 ah well. Riding tomorrow.

Close up of bonnet.. had to bend it down to try to drive off motorway.

Smashed windscreen

Early morning motorway fun.. hmm

A nice picture i drew

Street
SO here i am, on my knees typing an update because 90% of my stuff has been packed away. Went street riding the other day with Dave, Kevin, Ryan... and others that i cant remember. Anyway, found these steep banks.. the only kinda of street in Kingston well Dave managed to air them which was pretty cool, some pictures bellow. Wont be updating for a while because of no internet connection until the 19th!!.. 3 days without the internet! Apparently Cycleopedia have a website, nothing works on it but ill put it up anyway, found some old school pictures on it. Maybe its Gareth back in the day, not sure:

Wont be any updates until Aitken gets bored of looking at sites and decides to update.
Street:

Dave air, like a hair in a bear with a glare rubbing on a chair, that's a dare after eating a pair.. -beat that Dave

This is a good view of how tight the transition really is!

Dave tight transition air

Kisses© chocolate apparently. Steffi brought them back from Germany/France/Poland(??) meh well they are really nice, ended up eating half a bag of them.. and there the really annoying type that are in a little wrapper that you have to unwrap each one... time wasting.

In other news: I have new back wheel built :) on the down side, Ive lost two hubs to possible internal corrosion and bad maintenance.

In other other news: Bar end Jam 25th September >>flyer <<

In other other other news: If you ever watch a video and wonder what the music from it is then have a look on this site (you can even edit it yourself): http://www.quis.cc/bmxmusic/index.php

Aitken Leg
hellloooooo.
Aitken hear
sooooooooo bored after breaking my leg on monday!
yes bassicly on monday night stayed down to do a bit of digging after everyone went home. carried on with the 5th landing for a bit then ran out of dirt on the floor and coulcnt be arsed to get barrows so thought id have a few lownsome runs before it got drak and i went home, well 1st 2 runs went fine then on the third i just went all funky on the 4th and decide to bail so i didnt die. but, then i landed funny and hurt my ankle. it was pretty bad. like i couldnt walk. id left my mobile at home because battry was dead so i couldnt ring a ambulence so i had to hobble with my bike to downside where the nearest telephone box is. from there took full advantage of the legendary 0800 REVERSE and called my mum to pick me up. then bassicly went home to find my ankle looking very dispreportioned from the rest of my leg so i proceeded to make my way to epsom genral A&E, where i waited for too long. then remembered what the all mighty angry john rae once said;"aye oppp likee when you go'ta casul-ty tell'em you it' ed' likeee it works fookin' ace a' tell thee" so i went up to the desk and told them i was feeling queesy and that i'd hit my head. doctor came and saw me straight away. i then managed to convince him my head was fine and that the only thing wrong was my ankle and he wasent happy. but oh well.
basicly cut the rest or the story short because i am bored of typing about it and you are probably bored of reading it i have it in a cast and will be out for around a month and a half.kinda sucked but i got a pink cast! uber gay.

anyways as im so bored im gonna update random stuff from my computor that i have.

this is pete; hes my brothers best mate and has moved to british columbia. he is best mates with steve rominuk (freeride pro dude on the specialized team. was on drop in) and he has also done mushrooms with tyler klassen (bloke who rides like a peacock and wins alot) pete also rules at skiing and gets to set of avalanches for his job!

below is me and my friend james in a telephone box in london village. bit random i know. james has a fasionalble bike.

no more photos will work so ill put more up soon. blogs r gay!

i will post again soon no doubt see everyone down the trails saterday?

Summer is over
Been doing some sorting out of videos and stuff. Put a button at the bottom of the main frame so that if you get bored/ or you want to look at some old videos then they are easier to get to without having to go through the media bit.

Going back to uni on the 16th, should be fun. Going to miss home more now because this summer has been so crazy, don't want to leave now. Some of the best bits of summer has to be:

Nothing beats racing a Porsche Carrera against a boxter round Kingston one way system :)

Fun times river jumping with si, definitely a highlight.

Kingston times, sometimes good, sometimes same old. Keeps me entertained in lunch breaks tho

Wisley getting some necessary work done to it

MTB Whips, nice to see. that's progress for you, The-Track in Cornwall was good fun, long way to drive tho

Si backflip transfer, best thing that happened, no one was expecting it.

Driving back from Cornwall. 8 hour drive, stupid traffic

France, Skies like this every night

France people

More france people

Oceana, me and Jon

Jon trying to dance, this picture doesn't do it justice

He was very poor that night and someone spilt their beer

Kingston
Its raining loads. Started to be a beautiful day, got up at 8:30 on my day off to go into Kingston to sort contacts out etc then went to Kingston skatepark. It was almost to hot to ride, met Dave down there.. not rattly bike Dave, fashion bike/Kingston Dave. So that was good. had fun, which is surprising for Kingston. Disaster on the sub, Mike Aiken fastplant 180's, 360 flat banks, smiths, reverts.. yep. Rattly bike Dave turned up and showed us his new trick which was nice. English weather is strange, one minute its sunny and the next its raining cats and dogs (not literally Gareth).

In other news.. err, new pictures up on media section..

Leatherhead - Eliot Update
Wisley - Sherm gash master
Nonsuch :: Epsom - Eliot Update
Woburn - Pictures from my camera last time went

Went on a street ride last night with Gareth, Charlie and James S. Went to usual spots in Kingston.. its probably the worst places to ride street at. Lots of fun mincing went down, happy about bar spin hop of stairs platform thingy. Was going to try this rail thing, built a ghetto kicker to get onto it and then some security guard with a maaaaaaaasive dog turned up, it was the biggest dog i have ever seen, thought about petting it but it probably would of bitten our hands off. Then got chased by another security guard with a flashlight. James was taking a break from flatland to practice his street riding skills.

James doing something flatlandish.. image from BMX Rider i think

Mr underrated - Interviewed

Going to London tonight (not riding.. guest list posh club) so hopefully i will have time to put up a super long (nicely large file size) video up, if not then sometime over the weekend maybe. Nonsuch got their Jam on Sunday so i hear, should be good. Haven't been down wingham in ages so hopefully it hasn't fallen apart without me, I'm sure dirtlad boys have got it sorted. Go visit Gareth in Cyclopedia, make his day interesting and buy a BMX part from him.
