Dane Searls in a Coma

Word from twitter is Dane Searls is currently in a Coma. Reasons are unknown at the moment, will update as soon as we know more. He shone through as one of The Units most progressive dirt bike riders, in edits such as Giants Of Dirt. Our thoughts go out to him and his family, we hope for the best.

Update: “Searls, 23, was partying at Billy’s Beach House in Australia’s Surfers Paradise when he tried to dive into a pool from a first floor balcony last night and missed. He was taken to Gold Coast Hospital where he remains in a coma with head and back injuries.” more news here

Update: The accident wasn’t bike related. Quote from the Unit: “We need everyone’s positive energy, prayers and strength right now for our brother Dane Searls. He was badly hurt in a non-riding accident yesterday whilst celebrating his accomplishment at the Giants of Dirt. All his family and mates are by his side. Please send your support and best wishes to him.”- Unit.
