Kings Field Skatepark Update
”Congratulations to Maverick on winning the young peoples vote. The company have a lot of experience and knowledge in providing suitable skate parks on a national scale and we’re very pleased not only to have them working with us, but to have had a way in which the young people have had their say.Saying that, our commiserations go to the great designs that were provided by other companies – particularly to Bendcrete who came a close second.
Discussions are now underway at official level and we will be able soon to provide a timetable of what will be happening. At the moment we are looking for a brand new concrete skate park to be ready by the summer holidays if not before.
Do contact if you have any questions. If you have specific comments about the designs please talk to the skate park user group reps who will be meeting with the various people involved at official level in due course.
kcafe is undergoing a refit and will be looking brand-spanking new in about a weeks time. Please continue to support local young people’s work by coming down to see us.”
