Meeting Update
Just come back from the Kings Field skatepark meeting. Seems like Gravity pulled it out of the bag. Presented with a different type of design with some really awesome features. We let them know good and bad point about the layout and they have gone away to modify the design. They should be sending a re edited design through next week so I can put it up on the site.
For those who weren’t at the meeting, features included:
- Rhythm section (Two Jump boxes)
- Step up in the rhythm section
- Spine mini
- Curved wall ride next to the spine (same height)
- Street plaza area
- Vert wall
- Grass gaps (not real grass)
- Rails
- Flatbanks/pyramid
- Hips
- Sub box on top of quarter
- Driveways
- Grind boxes
- Nice size quarter

On the grape vine i hear Gravity have made a few parks where the surface is pretty slippy (to the point at some parks where even the skaters say they cant carve without slipping out)…. if they do the park we have to be on them about this so they do not over polish the surface.
