DMR

This time last year the trails at Wisley were looking very much like they were about to be knocked. Luckily through hard work and some help from a bunch of totally rad people the trails were saved and are now run on a membership basis through the BCF, which covers the need for insurance. As well as insurance, the landowners also insisted that we pay a lease on the land we are using. Last year DMR very kindly stepped in and offered to pay this for us, for which we are extremely grateful. The time has arrived for that lease to be payed again, and this year DMR are again helping us out, but using a more creative approach than simply writing a cheque. They have generously donated a box crammed with high quality gear for us to sell in order to raise the necessary funds. Everything you see here is sold exactly as it would be in a shop, in brand new, packaged condition with full warranty and will come with a one off Wisley surprise pack, the contents of which is a surprise but will probably contain a T-shirt, stickers, and something amusing. Plus you get the good karma of having helped out a good cause, so when you see pics from the trails up on this site and in the mags you’ll know you had a hand in keeping them running.

Transition Frame

Originally designed as a street and park frame with dropouts to take 14mm axles, the Transition has become the frame of choice for all the DMR team trails riders as well. Tight angles, low standover and a short back end make this as close to a BMX feel as a 24” can get.

Cro-Mo Wingbar

I’ve seen a few pairs of alloy bars snap this year, most notably Si’s while pulling back for a flip.here It’s not pretty and should be near the top of your list of things on your bike that you don’t want to break. So it makes sense to have steel bars, because they’ll bend long before they snap, and even that is very unlikely with these. They have a shape designed by the DMR team and feel pretty similar to my Beringer LT’s, which is definitely a good thing.

Trailblade2 20mm Through Axle Fork

I’ve been told that Ollie hasn’t bent a pair of these yet, which is amazing considering he used to go through at least 1 set of the old models each week, as I’m sure Dave can easily believe. Plenty strong enough and a good length to run on a frame designed for 100mm sus forks. These ones have dropouts to run with a 20mm axle hub.

£135.00

Lock Jaw Saddle

Using a idea originally spawned by the BMX company Macneil, this seat and post combination eliminates the age old problem of seat slippage and bent rails. The seat is a fashionably small one yet remains padded enough to hopefully prevent you becoming impotent in the event of no footed landing. It is also lighter than a regular seat and post, so will save you some weight in an area that makes a surprising difference to the way a bike rides. Sized to fit the DMR Transition frame.

£40.00

Headstock Stem

It’s a stem, it holds the bars in place, which is always useful. This one is very nicely machined so make your front end look classier than the Oceana queue on a Saturday night. Also the ingenious clamping system means that there’s no bolts on the back to twat your knees on.

Moto Digger tire 24"

Rolls fast enough to ride trails, is grippy enough for the 4X track or general hacking about in the woods. Perfect if you like to use your bike for a bit of everything, or if your riding sandy trails where a less knobbly tire just doesn’t cut it.
