Well it looks like Central Park skatepark in Plymouth will be demolished to make way for a car park.
“The existing skateboard park will close at the end of the year to make way for the Life Centre, Plymouth’s biggest ever investment in sport and leisure facilities.”
Its the first Ive heard of it and its sad news as ive had many a fun sessions at that skatepark. I’m sure the locals feel the same, but it seems all is not lost. Check out the links below of a campaign to get new indoor skatepark in Plymouth.
I haven’t bought a ride magazine for a while, I use to be subscribed but found my self flicking through the pages and never having time to read any. Which leads me nicely onto this random post of cool remixed ride covers by Taj
“Max Gaertig has to know that it would have been way cooler if he had done this 180 whip over the guardrail barefoot and barhopped. (Zielinkski photo, Ride #157)”
Some good new from the local scene. Sam’s been put on the Alone team. (spotted on zeal site) Congrats! All he needs to do now is get off his arse and do some riding!!
In other news.. had meeting with the park designers so I’ll post them up here in the next couple of days! Check back soon!
Well its now time for a bit of advertising. Been pretty bad on the updating recently. Lots of stuff going on so been pretty busy. I’ve been creating my brand new portfolio site that features selected pieces of work. At the same time i’ve put together the brand new Zeal site, It should be a lot easy to check out their new products, and updates should be a lot more frequent!. Check out the Zeal site here: zealbmx.com or my portfolio at levelflow.com
Right.. I’ve finally been able to sit down and sort some bits and pieces with the back-end of this site and it seems to be running nice and smoothly. I’ve even added a uploading feature where you can upload your images and display them on the site. Check out the images page or the thing below.
