Molesey Park Update

Thought i would post this for anyone interested in new skatepark development in the area. Molesey was meant to have a new skatepark by now but nothing seems to of happened. Someone called dangerousdowning posted this a couple of days ago:

“Molesey has pretty much fallen flat. It was a toss up between two locations within the area. Both have now been rejected due to negative feedback from residents. An email last week to someone on Elmbridge council confirmed this, as well as them now considering Hurst Park. This site is only about 2 miles from the Kingston skatepark and as thats being rebuilt, with a much larger budget; this will simply be a white elephant……if it ever gets off the ground that is.”

As some of you may or may not know, a brand new park is getting built down Plymouth way. I haven’t been down Plymouth in a while but since Domain closed down it was really needed. The park looks like its going to be awesome with the space they got, nice big fun ramps!

Snow and Stuff

I feel like i haven’t ridden in months. Its either snowy or wet and indoor parks are a long way away, nightmare. It seems there is still stuff going on in the bmx world but I haven’t been updating this much recently because i try to find videos/sites that no one else has posted. There are so many sites that post the same old thing and it just gets boring. So to keep it fresh here is a briggs’ home made snowbike. Hopefully some action pics soon.

Kingston Calling!

So, Lee told me because he has the new Alone Grips in stock I have to help sell them so here goes…..

If you live / ride in the Kingston area (and lets face it we have a scene of a pretty big size) then support your local rider owned Bike shop! Recycles in Brighton road Surbiton is stocked full of bmx awesomeness… these guys build the trails you ride, fight to get the local skatepark improved and laugh at you when you eat shit doing some fancy new school front tyre dancing lip trick.
